The Detroit Black-Owned Business Expo is an opportunity for local businesses & entrepreneurs to showcase their products and industries.
St. Stephen AME Church and The Our Circle Organization aim to connect Black-Owned Businesses to a community of supporters and resources while investing financially to help grow and sustain those very same businesses across Detroit. Each participant will be asked to register and complete a short Grant application. This Micro-grant is meant to assist with the day-to-day expenses of growing a small business. Three recipients will be rewarded.
Each participant will gain critical business resources and exposure that will drive growth and longevity. Through community grassroots initiatives such as this, each of us will have a hand in how we support our communities.

Registration/Applications are due on June 10th, 2023.
Vendor registration fees may be paid by cash, money order, cashier’s check, credit card, PayPal, or non-profit organization check. NO PERSONAL CHECKS
Registered & confirmed businesses will be provided a 6ft table, two chairs, and black linen (feel free to provide your own table linen).
Electricity will be provided, please supply your own 50-foot commercial-grade extension cord.

RULES
Submit all cancellations in writing via email to ourcirclemi@gmail.com by June 10th, 2023 to receive a refund, minus a $25 processing fee.
Ensure your space is professional & presentable.
Businesses can register for up to two spaces.
Food vendors must comply with Michigan Health Department regulations.
Cooking grease must be appropriately contained for disposal.
Refrain from causing any damage to property: including the dumping of grease, charcoal, or other substances anywhere in the facility.
No weapons or contraband.
No display or sale of counterfeit or bootlegged merchandise.
Set up begins at 9:45 am.
Set up must be complete by 11:45 am
Businesses arriving after 11:45 am WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE and forfeit their chance at winning a grant. Plan ahead
